Creator and star of cult hipster comedy determined to ‘wait long enough for something to have really gone down’ before producing a feature-length version
A Girls movie is in the works, though it’ll take at least 10 years for it to get its act together. Lena Dunham, the creator and star of the cult HBO show, has said she wants to make a feature-length version of the hipster comedy when she hits middle age.
“I have fantasies of us all coming back when we’re 40,” Dunham told Variety. “We’d want to wait long enough for something to have really gone down.”
